I guess this is when we start bringing in all the techniques that are supposed to induce labour. It's kind of funny because they are much like some of the things I've tried before to bring on Aunt Flo. The other night we went out for spicy dinner at a Thai restaurant, followed by a post dinner "treat" *wink wink*. Yesterday I went for a swim and a really long walk. This morning I went grocery shopping and lifted a bunch of heavy bags. Babies are like AF, they will come when they decide it's time. None of those methods really do anything unless labour is already underway.

ReplyDeleteI learned the hard way that the only thing that 100% brings on labour is time :). (this was after learning that Castor oil is NOT a good idea).
ReplyDeleteIn Europe they say that 41 weeks is full term (possibly not what you want to hear) and my doctor says that she would rather give mom's a due week rather than a due day (it was the only thing that kept me somewhat sane when we went past our due date).
The good news is that little Silver will be here soon so do what you can to enjoy the feeling of him/her inside of you.
