Sleep Update

3 nights in a row with only 1 wake up for a feeding! Can I call it a new pattern? I sure hope so. I don't want to jinx it, but we are celebrating this success. She had been waking every hour or two for nearly a month prior to this. I don't know exactly what triggered it, but we're happy. I can finally see straight again. She's down early (6-6:30pm) and up early (5:30 am) but it's working. I will happily get up that early after sleeping several hours straight. It's far better than getting up at 6:30 after sleeping 8 stretches of 45 min each.

She's still a short frequent power napper during the day, but puts herself to sleep in her crib with no fuss. She's got her soother and ribbon taggie blanket to rub. Hopefully with time and maturity she will start to string some of the naps together, but for now it's fairly easy to work around. She will do the odd nap in the carseat or stroller, but these aren't as easy for her. I try to avoid these when possible. Yesterday, we couldn't resist a trip to the beach however, who doesn't sleep well in the fresh air with the sound of the water?
