Well, I've spent the past 5 weeks following the clinic instructions -no exercise, no heavy lifting, no baths, no hot tubs, and no sex all to avoid uterine contractions until the after first u/s. Seemed pretty simple.
But, I guess my uterus had a mind of it's own last night

. Usually having a sexy dream and waking up in the middle of the night having an orgasm is a pleasant experience -it was for a second, until I remembered that I am still on restrictions until Monday! Naughty uterus, breaking the rules like that! You couldn't contain yourself just a few more days. Well, what's done is done, there was no stopping it once it started. Now if the Dr. asks, I'll have to fess up I guess.
I sure hope the bean(s) is OK in there with all that rumbling around. Now I'm more nervous than ever about this u/s.
LOL. That happened to me with my first cycle, and I called the clinic nurse in a panic! She said not to worry, and apparently all the hormones wreaking havoc with your body makes it happen to lots of people. :Emoticons09710:

The same thing happened to me....a couple times! I was told to refrain as well....couldn't believe that my body betrayed me like that. It had never happened to me before and it hasn't since. So unfair that the only times it happened were when it was not "allowed". Try not to worry...like Fey said...it happens to alot of people. Your bean(s) were probably in there doing a happy dance.

ONLY YOU! Yup... had one too -- funny how our bodies respond. Might as well enjoy it ;)

SD - I always have to laugh at the suggestions RE's give post transfer. I personally think its so bad because when something like this happens(beyond our control and probably BECAUSE your holding back) we feel so guilty - and not only is that unfair if something bad happened, but so incredibly unlikely the cause of anything bad (IF something bad does happen).
If you were waterskiing I'd probably tell you that it wasn't wise.
BTW - I never got a restriction talk from Dr.H (which is why I was riding my bike the day after my 3dt - and the reason I've gone on mtn bike rides during all my 2ww except my BFN where I actually behaved - go figure).

I would say a rather pleasant way to pass the time waiting for the u/s!

LOL, by the sounds of it, it happens to everybody who is told to restrict?? I had quite a few "wet" dreams, and scared my silly everytime. It has not happened sense, and I carried on to almost full term. So try not to stress. LOL.

LOL SD!! I had the EXACT same thing happen to me before my first U/S! But amazingly my rational brain took over and I woke up panicked because I was about to orgasm! STopped it just in time?! All that progesterone makes one a little well..."randy". I haven't had the experience since...actually libido is now zilch. No worries on your bean...he's stuck in there like a grain of sand stuck to peanut butter. Take care!

Same thing happened to me! You'll be fine :)

Wow, I want to join your club! ;) Waking up in the middle of the night from an orgasm is a gift!!! Enjoy it! Bean or beans were probably enjoying the dance party! :) Woo hooo!!!!

Same thing happened to me - a few days after 2 of my 3 transfers when Implantation wouldnt have happened yet. It freaked me out. And, of course, I blamed these unwanted Os for contributing towards my BFNs. Anyways, your emby/embryos would have long since implanted! Good luck on Monday!!!! Can't wait to hear about it!!!!!!

Since I have been pregnant, it happens to me quite often. I woke-up in the middle of the night and here it is. Being on bedrest for the last 8 1/2 weeks and I always feel guilty as I am not allowed either and baby is still there and healthy as ever!!!
