Just in the last few days however, I have been getting some mild menstrual like cramps, so perhaps that means it is nearer than I expect. I hope not. Hang in there just a little longer little one. The cramps come on fairly gently (not enough to stop me in my tracks, but strong enough that I take notice). They usually last for a couple of minutes and are often accompanied by the hardening of my uterus (Braxton Hicks) that I have been getting now for months. I've had maybe 2 or 3 episodes a day for the last few days, then hours will go by with nothing. Hmmm...
I have another OB appointment on Thursday so I'd guess he'll start checking the baby's position and my cervix from here on in.
I thought I had Time then 48 hours before my baby's delivery I started to have menstruel cramps that stopped on and came back every few hours. After 2 days contractions picked up and I delivered at exactly 37 weeks. I followed your story at ivf.ca, I wish you a happy and safe delivery.
ReplyDeleteFor me the defining moment was after watching tv and then standing up and saying "hey? My belly used to be this high and now its significantly lower?" This was after LN10 moved nonstop for over 3 hours. 96 hours later...he was born! You are soo soooo close...hang in there...here's hoping for at least two more weeks!
