Little Blue Rides Again

Seeing as there are no young kids in the family, my parents and siblings decided to draw names for Christmas presents this year. My dad drew my name and surprised me with a wonderfully practical gift -a clutch for my car that has been sitting undriveable since the summer. We had it listed for sale for a while and were not able to sell it, and nobody wanted to barter a trade (I was only asking 900 units of Gonal-F in exchange ;)). With fertility treatments behind us and more ahead of us, there's no way we could entertain the idea of getting a newer car, or taking on another loan/ payment. This car, even though it is old and high mileage, still has potential to go for another couple of years, and I know it's quirks and what work has gone into it previously. My dad sourced out a mechanic that will do the work for cash, so I'm pleased to announce little blue should be back on the road in the next week! Whoo hoo -happy dance!

Great year for Dad's coming to the rescue. My Dad told me I can buy my own hand held vacuum (which I'd requested) and he'd buy me new winter tires instead.... who was I to argue that? Congrats on little blue
