I am once again nearing my next visit to the Island. With summer approaching I wanted to make my visits with my lovely niece and nephew-in-law slightly more frequent. I know it has only been 25 days since my last visit, but the sea air beckons. I did receive your last letter and the small claims court notice of eviction, but I’m afraid there must be some mistake. I know you don’t really want me not to visit you anymore.
I again used the stork postal service to deliver my letter, but as you requested I am having them deliver it to Babies R’ Us Fertility Clinic instead of directly to you. By the way, I wanted to let you know the latest news the stork told me. They are running low on babies because of a low stock of eggs from the supplier. So the good news is that he’s got lots of time to deliver my letters.
I'll see you again very soon...
Sincerely,
Auntie Flo
Dearest Florence,
We desperately need a break from your visits. Since you have not respected last month’s final notice of eviction, we will be stepping this up to mediation to try to resolve our dispute without litigation. Our team of experts in this field has advised me of your letter, and impending arrival. Please be advised that we will be stepping up our efforts a notch for next time to try to access the limited supply of eggs. I hope you don't mind daily injections into your abdomen. Don't worry the side effects will be minimal.
We’ve got renovations going on in the house, so all we can offer you this time is a tent in the back yard with a camping mat and sleeping bag. The other option would be the neighbours who have teenage girls. When the girls aren’t out on dates with their new boyfriends, they would be relieved to see you and thrilled to put you up for a few days.
Regards,
Your great-niece Silver$

Hhahhahah I love this oh my I love love it. That's right renovations are happening in my house and I will be damn if she keeps appearing. Love this, SD, this is great.

Honestly though, I'm very sorry that this cycle wasn't THE cycle for you. Even more than that, I'm sorry that it was much more of a rollar coaster than you ever could have bargained for. I was quite shocked when you blogged that your doctor had told you DURING your IUI that he suspects POF. Was it your normal doctor that did the procedure and told you that he suspected POF? I was just surprised that he would chose to tell you at that moment and in that way (no lead it, just sort of - bam!).
Are you and your DH making plans for how to procede? Will you meet with your doctor before another treatment cycle to hear his recommendations and decide how to move forward from here?
You are in my thoughts and prayers that you will find the solution that works for you.

The RE outlined the plan during the last IUI, yes it was my regular Dr. Because I ovulated so early, I never made it to my monitoring appointments where I'm sure he would have talked to me about this. The IUI was done as a bit of an emergency. I'll see him again on Wednesday when I go for a day 3 baseline u/s, b/w and injection teaching. IUI #2 will be done with injectable meds in the hopes of getting a better response. This IUI will be diagnostic as much as it is treatment, and will help to develop a better plan if it is not successful. Just a clarification -he said low reserve not POF -there is a difference. He is still confident that we'll be successful because of my age and the eggs I have being good quality.

Oops sorry, I don't think I realized the difference between POF and low reserve. I guess it doesn't matter how much time I spend on this site (which is ALOT), fertility is a huge field and there is always something new to learn! I'm glad too that it wasn't your doctors intention to spring this on you, it was just how things worked out. I've only read good things about him, which is why I was so surprised. I have no doubt that you are in the best of hands. I too have every faith that you WILL find success. I'll have you in my thoughts and prayers and I am cheering you on 'til you get your much deserved BFP!

Thanks LP! There is no time to be upset, we're just moving right along, trying a different approach. Let's hope AF chooses the neighbour option next time.

SD, it's great to see that in spite of a disappointing cycle you can still find your wonderful sense of humour.
Way to go. All the best for this upcoming cycle.

:flowers: Thanks you guys. AF made her grand entrance this morning and has decided to take the tent.

Well, my Aunt Fran showed up this morning. Maybe we should get her together with your Aunt Flo and send them on a long vacation!
