The Reverse Brazilian
I'm now several days into the recovery from surgery, with some days better than others, I think I'm finally turning a corner. To my surprise this morning my steri-strips came off in the shower to reveal a big strip of missing hair down there! I've heard friends talk about getting a Brazilian wax job where they remove most of the hair except for a landing strip down the middle. My very interesting bikini line is exactly the opposite of that -let's call it a "reverse Brazilian". This newest trend is only available by getting on a waiting list to visit your local operating room, and having a general anesthetic. This procedure has some minor side effects of pain, bruising, bloating, nausea, and fatigue, and a risk of infection. You will be limited to wearing only a specific style of bikini with a little skirt to provide generous coverage on the sides, and a cover up to hide the bloating and bruising described above. With spring here and summer fast approaching you better get your name on the list before the season ends. All the cool people are doing it!

Ha ha... this is hilarious! But a "Brazilian" means removing ALL of it! I know, I learned the hard way. I always thought it mean "the strip" too... and nope.. off it came. LOVED your hilarious blog :)

I was pretty scared to scroll down and see the "attached picture". I thought you may have taken an actual picture :) I didn't get the "reverse Brazilian" for my surgery - just a tiny bit of hair removed at the top of the pubic hair line. I've had a real Brazilian before though - yeah, they removed everything! Hope your recovery is complete and that you are well on your way to the next step in your journey!

I must be feeling better, because my black sense of humour has returned! I'm glad to see so many people got a few giggles out of this one. I'm laughing too, but gingerly with a pillow hugged against my incisions.

Luckypenny -OMG! I think the description itself verges on inappropriate content, a photo would have the moderators shutting me down for sure.
OK another TMI update -they obviously used a razor because the landing strip is already starting to fill in with stubble. :Emoticons09710: Oh, I feel so attractive. Good thing DH and I are still on sex restrictions.
