The Flasher

One little funny detail I forgot about during the last procedure was my full frontal nudity stunt.

After my final trip to the bathroom to partially empty my overfull bladder, I was asked by the nurse as per the usual routine to undress from the waist down and climb aboard the procedure table. The other 28 times I've done this, I've had ample time and end up just waiting around in the stirrups for a while before the RE arrived. So, I slipped my shoes off, then my socks, turned each sock right side out, tucked the socks into my shoes, took my pants down and carefully folded them and placed them on top of my shoes. I was arranging the pillow, when suddenly there was a knock/simultaneous door opening maneuver and my RE was standing in the doorway while I was fully upright getting ready to mount the table. "Oh, I'm so sorry" he said and quickly closed the door again.

Ooops, I shouldn't have dawdled. I quickly got in position and waited a few seconds before calling out "OK, I'm ready". He reentered the room, blushed, and said "how rude of me to walk in on you". I told him I didn't care and that I was not at all worried about it. Cripes this man has seen me in the nude almost as often as my own husband! I find it funny that is is embarrassing for him to see naked women standing vertically, but it is totally fine once they are lying horizontally. LOL!

This happened to me once too! It is still embarrassing even though he has "seen it all" - I am blushing just remembering it!!

LOL!!!!! I too always find it funny that the leave the room for you to undress, then come back in once your bits are exposed... something about the "act" of undressing that seems more personal in nature I guess! :Emoticons0096:

I too always found that so ironic....and I can certainly picture his expression as he is SOOO sensitive. Indeed it must be a wonderful feeling they have though, knowing they go to work with the intention of making women pregnant ALL DAY LONG!!! Just think coming home from work and saying to your wife, well, I think I made xx number women pregnant today! I know they have bad stuff too, I just think that's funny!

I can't count how many times I've told a clinic doc or nurse, "Don't worry, I've lost all my modesty."

I'm laughing here just imagining this as he is so polite! I have fear of this happening so I aways rush to get on the table and get covered up. It's kind of funny I guess as they all end up seeing everything anyways! Perhaps the simultaneous knock/door opening move isn't so effective!

    LisainSK, 15 April 2011 - 04:05 PM

That's funny because I'm a cloths folder myself. But I'm also ok with the (de)robing while they're still in the room (it just seems so silly not to. My problem is why are all the beds always feet first to the door??

Ha, that's hilarious... I'm a clothes "roller" myself... get it done as quickly as possible and get in position "just in case".

Your story brings back memories. It almost happened to me too. I was just getting ready to jump on the table when I heard the knock and saw the door opening. DH was with me and he pretty much slam the door in the RE face as he simultaneously said "not ready yet!" It happened so fast and DH just acted out of reflexes, good thing the RE wasn't hurt. We all had a good laugh once he came in the second time.
