It's time for another vacation, but not your average vacation package deal. 2 or 3 times a year my husband and I go somewhere very remote, and go totally unplugged from the technology and the outside world. 10 days of uninterrupted time to connect with ourselves and with the natural surroundings. We are lucky to live in BC where you don't have to look hard for these sorts of locales. I'm ready for the time warp, I can't think of a better way to spend the rest of this 2 week wait. Our tent and camp stove will become our all inclusive resort, and the nearby lakes or ocean is better than any hotel pool. Activities to chose from include hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
I'm sure lots will happen around here and will have some catching up to do when I get back, but for now I'm checking out for a while.
Have a great trip!!!

I'm so jealous! I'm headed for an even bigger metropolis to be mobbed by relatives (OK, I do love them) and surrounded by technology, cars and decision-making. Have a really excellent time!!

I don't think dh will survive without technology. He might die before the day is over...the reception is weak in our cottage for our cellphone and I swear he thinks of climbing the roof sometimes just to get online.. Lol! Have tons of fun!
