Happy new year! I'm e-mailing to let you know that my January period has arrived right on schedule. Could you please confirm whether or not I need to take birth control pills prior to my surgery. Also, I am wondering if you could send me an outline of the protocol you plan to use for my next cycle.
My RE's response:
I am glad you have had a good holiday period - and a happy new year to you too. You will not need to take the birth control pills. I will forward you a protocol so you have an idea of what to expect.
LOL! Usually when someone says I'm glad you have had a "good holiday period" they are referring to a nice restful vacation time. Not an RE, they are pleased when you have a good red flow that comes when it is expected. I will never think of a good holiday period in any other way now.
